The inaugural AGM of St. Patrick’s College Jaffna Melbourne OBA was held on February 9, 1992. The 1st St. Patrick’s Day celebrations were held on March 29, 1992. Since then, the OBA has celebrated St. Patrick’s Day every year with Holy Mass followed by a traditional dinner. The AGM was held on the same day usually (except occasionally when the AGM was held on a different day due to venue restrictions).
